Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is pleased to participate in Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026. Throughout the weekend, visitors are welcome to visit exhibitions, artist presentations, screenings, talks, and readings. Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition I’ll Always Remember… presents a single, multifaceted body of work comprising photography, sculptural intervention and moving image. Co-curated by aemi Artistic Director Alice Butler, the exhibition extends from themes present in Bourdieu, a significant new film by the artist, which screens at the Irish Film Institute, Monday 03 November. As part of Dublin Gallery Weekend's programme, aemi are presenting a three-day free screening programme of experimental artist moving image works at The Light House Cinema, including films by exhibiting artist Morgan Quaintance and TBG+S Studio Artists Jaki Irvine and Olivia Normille.
Opening prior and extending in to Dublin Gallery Weekend, Isabel English presents a new body of work, murmur. The artist presentation explores the intersections between psychology and human experience, positioning the works at the threshold between concealment and exposure. Gently activated by currents of air and warmth, the works shift at the periphery of the space, evoking a series of associations that point towards the domestic and the clinical. Forms withhold as much as they reveal, suspended in a state of quiet indeterminacy, where meaning remains provisional and the boundaries between interior and exterior dissolve. Artist Holly Pickering performs an experimental text, Names, written in response to themes explored in English’s new body of work.
Temporary Address is nomadic gallery based between Dublin and Cologne founded by visual artists Luke van Gelderen, Frances Hennigan, and Lana May Fleming. It presents new work by the founding artists following their participation at SWAB Barcelona Art Fair. Each artist investigates how identity is constructed and performed online, examining the frictions between authentic self-presentation, gender, and performative activism. Through sculpture, print, and painting, the works employ appropriation, anthropomorphism, and the language of public relations to expose the conflicting pressures and contradictions individuals face as they construct their identities within the platform economy. Temporary Address host a programme of events including Freed from Desire, a screening of selected film works, and an in-conversation event with writer and researcher Maeve Connolly.
In celebration of Dublin Gallery Weekend, TBG+S hosts a tour of the exhibitions and artist presentations which introduces the organisation and its beginnings an artist studio complex in a disused factory in 1983, up to the what the organisation is today before visiting each of the programmed exhibition and presentation.
