Further Information

Coinciding with Dublin Gallery Weekend, Names is an experimental fictional text by Holly Pickering, developed in response to Isabel English's new body of work murmur.

Names is written in response to themes explored in Isabel English’s new body of work murmur, and how it intersects with elements of the novel A Deep North by American poet and novelist Fanny Howe (1940–2025). murmur is a site-responsive installation and artist presentation in Temple Bar Gallery+ Studios’ Studio 1, which runs throughout Dublin Gallery Weekend. The work murmur is in development with curator Mark O’Gorman and will continue towards an exhibition in 2028.
