Join us for a short tour of artist and filmmaker Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition I’ll Always Remember... in advance of the screening of his film Bordieu, at the Irish Film Institute.
Join curators Alice Butler and Michael hill for a short introduction to Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, I’ll Always Remember... Using the practical sociology of Pierre Bourdieu as an interpretative framework, Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition presents a single, multifaceted body of work comprising photography, sculptural intervention and moving image. I’ll Always Remember… extends from themes present in the significant new film by Quaintance, titled 'Bourdieu', in which the French sociologist’s analytical tools are used as prompts guiding an exploration of the artist’s childhood experience living between London and Chicago.
Event Location Description: This tour will take place in our street facing gallery. There is sound that plays intermittently as part of the exhibition. This is an informal standing event with seating available. If you have booked to see the screening there is an approximate five minute walk to the IFI Cinema through accessible and some cobbled streets.
