Join us for a tour of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, including artist and filmmaker Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition ‘I’ll Always Remember’ and artist presentations by artists Isabel English, Luke van Gelderen, Frances Hennigan, and Lana May Flemming
The tour will begin with an introduction to Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, covering its beginnings an artist studio complex in a disused factory in 1983, up to the what the organisation is today. It will visit to the current Gallery exhibition, Morgan Quaintance’s exhibition I’ll Always Remember curated by Alice Butler of AEMI. The exhibition includes a body of new moving image, photographic and text-based work which extends on his new moving image work Bourdieu.
Following this, the tour will visit two artist presentations in the studio complex: Isabel English, murmur, and Temporary Address. Isabel English presents a new body of work, referencing The Deep North by Fanny Howe (1990) and A Manual of Artistic Anatomy by C.L. Sparkes (1888). This presentation is produced by Mark O’Gorman. Temporary Address will present new works by Luke van Gelderen, Frances Hennigan, and Lana May Fleming. Each artist investigates how identity is constructed and performed online, examining the frictions between authentic self-presentation, gender, and performative activism.
Each of these Exhibition and Artist Presentations are on view for the duration of Dublin Gallery Weekend during special opening hours: Friday – Saturday, 11am – 6pm.; Sun 11am – 5pm.
Dublin Gallery Weekend runs 5 – 8 November 2026, and is hosted by Contemporary Art Gallery Association (CAGA). In its fourth year, Dublin Gallery Weekend brings together Ireland’s most exciting artists, galleries, cultural institutions and creative spaces in a citywide takeover.
