This event has been cancelled until further notice. Please check back for updates.
Join TBG+S Studio Artist Ella Bertilsson in Studio 1 for a workshop which will encourage experimentation, playfulness and DIY thinking to invent an imaginary world through object and map making. Workshop participant will build worlds through drawing maps and creating sets, props and characters, employing assemblage as a technique using a variety of materials, such as cardboard, fabric, tape, wool, string, tin foil, newspapers, books, magazines, markers, tissue paper, and more.
Please book a place for each child attending. Parents/Guardian need not book.
Ella Bertilsson’s practice combines elements of sculpture, video, performance, drawing, painting, and sound into staged installations, as a form of enquiry into bizarre and quotidian experiences and events that shape our character and define our identity. Selected solo exhibitions include: The Horse, Dublin (2025); Ballina Art Centre, Mayo (2024); The Dock, Leitrim (2023-24); and The Complex, Dublin (2022).
