What do your memories look like? How would you create them as an artwork as sound, sculpture, images or text? Take a journey with artist Michelle Malone as she shares her processes and ideas around making art using memory as a tool.
Join Michelle Malone for a live online conversation and an unraveling, closer look at her solo exhibition Summer Project 1997. Michelle will discuss the research and development of this project and share behind-the-scenes images of the making of the exhibition. We will listen to the audio component of the work titled Summer Project. Looking at how Michelle developed ideas and research for this artwork, she will discuss with participants how to develop art projects with material pools found in memories.
This is an online event for adults.
