Join dance artist Laura Sarah Dowdall for a multi-sensory dance workshop to explore the hard and soft edges of non-verbal communication. This accessible workshop involves touch, partner-work and moving with eyes closed. How do we perceive, interpret and interact with our environment and each other? What is it to see differently and what can we gain?
Laura Sarah Dowdall is an innovative dance artist creating engaging performance that is experiential, immersive and permeable to audience interaction. She incorporates instant composition, immersive theatre and durational performance into contemporary dance work that is site-specific, staged and on film. Laura's research and choreography centers on developing new avenues for audience engagement, breaking boundaries of hierarchy and expectation, and offering experiences of heightened awareness.
