27 January 2015
Tuesday 27 January, 6pm, studio 16.
TBG+S are pleased to present 'Ludus’, a multimedia talk by Conor Mary Foy, taking place in his studio and marking the end of his year long residency at TBG+S. Conor Mary Foy is the 2014 recipient of the Temple Bar Gallery + Studios Recent Graduate Studio Residency, and has spent the last year developing his artistic practice at TBG+S studio 16.
The talk will showcase Conor’s recent work and contextualise it by presenting historical information and found video footage which has had a specific influence on his work. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A session lead by curator Rayne Booth, and refreshments.
Studio Talks at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios are informal events in which member studio artists discuss their recent work in the familiar surroundings of their own studio. These events are free of charge, and provide an opportunity to gain an insight into the particular motivations behind an artist’s work. All are welcome.
