Join Maelisa Lennon for a slow and mindful looking experience of artworks from Gather by Niamh O'Malley in a relaxed and open environment.
This exhibition tour will allow participants to enjoy and understand the artwork on display through observation and discussion, facilitating a more personal connection with the artworks and their stories.
This event is suitable for all who are new to or curious about contemporary art. It is a special private viewing out of gallery hours. Please meet at the gallery entrance for 11am.
Maelisa Lennon is a visual artist with an interest in introducing new audiences to contemporary art. She is as a gallery mediator at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, and worked at the 59th Venice Biennale as part of the mediator’s team for Niamh O’Malley’s Gather.
Niamh O’Malley’s recent and upcoming solo exhibitions include Vardaxoglou Gallery, London (forthcoming 2023); Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast (forthcoming 2023); John Hansard Gallery, Southampton (2021), mother’s tankstation Dublin (2020), Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin (2019), Lismore Castle Arts (2019), Grazer Kunstverein (2018), Bluecoat, Liverpool (2015), The Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2017 and 2015).
