Take part in a dance workshop in the gallery, developing improvisation and composition through the physical body, space and time.
Beginning with a guided improvisation warm-up, tuning the body by integrating breath, gravity, textures, supports, rhythms and speed changes. In the second part of the workshop we will look at space and how we move together through it, using instant composition and intuition. Aoibhinn O’Dea participated as a performer in the puppet scene of Claí na Péiste (Worm’s Ditch), Sibyl Montague’s current solo exhibition at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
This is an adult workshop and is open to anyone with an interested in dance. No prior dance experience needed. Comfortable clothing recomended.
