09 December 2026, 5pm

Further Information

Vaari Claffey and Francis Halsall host a conversation with DABF Guest Curator Nathan O’Donnell, and artist and writer Sharon Kivland, as part of their ongoing podcast series Producing Strategies.

Vaari Claffey and Francis Halsall continue their podcast series, exploring different forms and methods of production happening across fields, forms, and disciplines, in conversation with Sharon Kivland, an artist based in London and France, whose work as editor and publisher happens under the imprint MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE.

Sharon Kivland
is an artist and writer, an editor and publisher. Her novel Abécédaire was published by Moist Books in 2022, and its counterpart, Almanach: A Year in the French Revolutionary Calendar, was published by Grand Iota in 2025.

Producing Strategies
is a podcast by curatorial practitioner Vaari Claffey and writer and academic Francis Halsall, exploring creative producing as a practice and form. In conversation with creative experts, Claffey and Halsall speak with curators, film producers, editors, designers, food producers, fashion designers, and more – about how they produce things and make things happen. They want to find out if there is a common language shared by producers of creative work, and if and how it might be possible to compare strategies for cultural work across different fields of practice.
