Enjoy an afternoon of art in the city with an introduction to exhibitions and arts organisations in Temple Bar, which you can later explore at your own pace.
Meet at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for an introduction to Vanessa Donoso López's exhibition (O-O-O)’. Following this, we will visit Photo Museum Ireland to hear about the group exhibition AfterImage which includes Alan Butler, Ailbhe Ní Bhriain, Luke van Gelderen, Gregory Eddi Jones, Maria Mavropoulou, Alan Phelan, Michael Schäfer, Linn Phyllis Seeger. The tour will finish at Project Arts Centre for an introduction Ruth Clinton & Niamh Moriarty exhibition A Disentailing Deed.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery supporting the development of artists and the creation of art.
Photo Museum Ireland is a centre for contemporary photography, dedicated to advancing the development, appreciation and understanding of photography and visual culture.
Project Arts Centre is a centre for artists, arts workers and audiences of all ages, with a programme of visual and performing arts in two theatre spaces and a gallery, including space for the development of new work.
Event location and tour route information: A member of our team will be present to welcome you at our street-facing Gallery. We will walk no more than approximately five minutes between venues through a busy pedestrianised area with mixed cobbled and accessible pathways. All locations are at ground floor level or accessible via lift. The introductions will be standing with seating available on request. Venues are varied according to each exhibition and may include sound, moving images, artificial or dimmed lighting.
