A two-part art writing workshop led by Lily Cahill in response to breathing with heels, walking with eyes by Fanny Gicquel.
The Young Art Writers programme explores different aspects of writing in relation to visual art through workshops led by writers, and artists and curators with a writing practice. Over two sessions participants will discuss and experiment with writing in relation to current Gallery exhibition, breathing with heels, walking with eyes by Fanny Gicquel. The workshops adopt a shared learning and explorative approach as opposed to taught or critique-based sessions. There will be time between sessions to experiment with writing.
The programme is designed for anyone age 18 - 25 who is interested in art and writing, or who would like to be introduced to this area. No experience is necessary and all levels of writing ability are welcome. There are a limited amount of spaces for this workshop and so we a short written expression of interest.
