Bealtaine | Improv Workshop with Michelle Read
28 May 2026, 11am–2pm
A fun and practical workshop with Dublin Comedy Improv founding member Michelle Read in celebration of Bealtaine Festival.
08 July 2025, 9:30–11am
Join artist Liliane Puthod, writer Ingrid Lyons and one of the last tinsmiths of Ireland James Collins, for the departure event of tour de force, a summer-long tour around Ireland.
To mark the departure of tour de force, James Collins, one of the last tinsmiths of Ireland, is introducing his tools along with a hands-on demonstration to fabricate a singular object, a talisman of good luck, to bring on the Renault 4’s journey around Ireland.
This launch will take place in Liliane Puthod's artist studio, on the ground floor of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, with the Renault 4 parked in the background and the studio doors opened onto the pedestrian street for passer-by to drop in.
tour de force is a national tour of Ireland by visual artist Liliane Puthod and writer Ingrid Lyons. At the wheel of Liliane Puthod’s late father’s Renault 4, tour de force is a celebration of culture and creativity in the format of a mapped adventure engaging with artists, musicians, mechanics, farmers, writers, archaeologists, craftspeople, academics, and aficionados over a series of pit stops all around Ireland… a summer 2025 ‘buddy movie’.
tour de force is a result of a pilot tour in 2024 when Liliane Puthod and Ingrid Lyons live streamed their journey from the Renault 4, driving across France and up through Ireland for Beep Beep, a major off-site installation by Liliane Puthod at The Pumphouse, Dublin Port, produced and curated by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
