Our Breakfast Club opens the doors to Temple Bar Gallery + Studios early once per exhibition to invite local residents and workers into the gallery to enjoy a wake-up coffee and discussions about art.
As part of our Summer School artist Clare Breen will invite participants to join a free workshop making clay objects called Breadfellows' Chats. During a Breadfellows' Chat two people make one object together from clay that can be used to share food. These objects will be fired and used during future events in Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
During the workshop the conversation will focus on considering the gallery, who it is for, who uses it, and how it can become a more open and inclusive public space. Everyone is welcome to join the workshop.
Do you live or work in the Temple Bar area? Are you interested in talking about art, visiting exhibitions, meeting artists, or learning about art making? Would you like to meet other people who work or live in the area? Then join us at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for our FREE Making Connections Programme. These early morning, evening and weekend family events are for everyone – no previous experience required.
