Artist Joanne Reid hosts an Open Studio showcasing a collection of current work.
Joanne Reid is a visual artist working in sculpture. Reid’s work often begins as a direct response to chance encounters with the materials, objects and spaces that form our built environment. Using art historical references, Reid is interested in the representation of food in the western art tradition and the history of still life. Her most recent work plays with a merging of the natural and the built world.
Selected exhibitions and awards include, Draíocht Artist Studio Residency (2023), Fingal RHA Studio Residency (2021), Home Bodies, Chapelizod, Dublin (2021), Return to Disintegration - Periodical Review 11, Pallas Projects, Dublin (2021), ARTWORKS:Dearly Beloved, Visual Carlow (2019) and Futures, Series 3, Episode 2, RHA, Dublin (2018). Reid is a recipient of the Arts Council Visual Arts Bursary Award (2023, 2022), Agility Award (2021) and the Fingal Artists’ Support Scheme (2023, 2022).

Free Space at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios creates the opportunity for artists to access space in the city for peer learning, artist exchanges, project development and presentations.
