For Bealtaine Festival @ Temple Bar, TBG+S is delighted to host a tour of our current exhibition staring forms, by artists Miranda Blennerhassett, Aleana Egan, Andreas Kindler von Knobloch and Tanad Williams, led by TBG+S Learning and Public Engagement Curator, Róisín Bohan.
staring forms is a group exhibition that brings together four artistic practices that engage with space, interiors and sites using distinct voices and methodologies. Each artist was invited to share a text that resonates with their practice, which will inform a series of discussions prior to the exhibition that may inform the decisions made in the studio when making new work to show. These texts include critical, philosophical and political essays, fiction and poetry.
Bealtaine @ Temple Bar brings the nationwide Bealtaine Festival to the heart of cultural institutions in Temple Bar on 18th May. Events will take place in venues throughout Dublin's cultural quarter from 10.30 - 4pm, and we invite you to be our guest with a tea party to end the day in Crampton Square at 4pm. The Bealtaine Festival is an Age & Opportunity Arts initiative, funded by the Arts Council and takes place nationwide throughout the month of May. For more information visit bealtaine.ie
