Join Kids’ Own artist and designer Vanya Lambrecht Ward for a workshop looking at books and buildings. Through explorations of folding techniques and the combination of balancing, stacking and leaning, we will discover what wonderful structures books and buildings can be.
Kids' Own is a children's arts organisation and publishing house based in Sligo. Their books are available at Dublin Art Book Fair 2018. Their most recent book, I HOPE YOU GROW, was made with children in temporary accommodation in Dublin in partnership with Focus Ireland
This event takes place as part of the Children's Section, supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
Dublin Art Book Fair 2018: Art and Architecture: Uncovering Libraries and Collections is guest curated by architectural and cultural historian, Dr. Ellen Rowley, sponsored by Henry J Lyons and supported by Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
