Temple Bar Gallery + Studios seeks to appoint a Gallery Mediator, who will play a role as part of a front of house team in the public gallery.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (TBG+S) is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery in Dublin City Centre. We support the development of artists and the creation of art, through high quality studio provision, an ambitious exhibition programme and public engagement programme. Our exhibitions identify Irish artists of talent at pivotal points in their practice, and introduce work by international artists to Irish audiences.

The role of Gallery Mediator at TBG+S involves being the first point of contact for visitors to the gallery and mediating the exhibitions. This role would suit anyone with a passion for contemporary visual art, who is comfortable speaking about art, enjoys interacting with audiences, and is available to work part-time. This is a freelance position, working approximately 7 hours per week during gallery opening hours; Tuesday - Saturday, 11am - 6pm.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is committed to its EHRD policy to promote equality of opportunity for all, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, civic or family status, religion, age, disability, socio-economic background, race, or membership of the Travelling community. Therefore, we welcome applications that are representative of the diversity of Irish society, including, but not limited to any of the characteristics outlined.
