Dublin Gallery Weekend | Artist Talk: Frank Sweeney, 'Go Ye Afar'

Explore the current exhibitions by Yuri Pattison and Liliane Puthod at The Pumphouse through the act of drawing.
This is a free event, booking essential as spaces are limited.
Experiment with observational and mindful drawing inspired by the exhibitions at Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home. Participants can take inspiration from the two exhibitions by Yuri Pattison and Liliane Puthod, in the context of their unique surroundings at Dublin Port.
Beginning with a short introduction to the exhibitions and some warm-up exercises, participants will be free to draw, and share if they wish. There will be space indoors and outside to draw.
This event is suitable for anyone new to or curious about contemporary art. No experience necessary.
Meet at the orange cabin at the entrance to The Pumphouse, Alexandra Road, Dublin Port at 12pm.
Limited materials are supplied, you are free to bring your own.
Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home is produced and curated by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, in partnership with Dublin Port Company. This drawing session is part of a programme of weekly Saturday events.
Event Location Information: This workshop will take place at The Pumphouse, Alexandra Road, Dublin Port. There is limited wheelchair access to the exhibitions and some uneven surfaces outside. There is an accessible bathroom. The workshop will take place indoors with access to outdoors also. There will be seating and drawing boards available.
