HeART of Gaza will sell and showcase a selection of prints from it's international travelling exhibition of children's art at DABF in aid of art workshop and therapeutic assistance provision for the children of Gaza.
HeART of Gaza is an international travelling exhibition of children's art by twenty six young Palestinian artists, inviting us to bear witness to childhood lived under bombardment and starvation, sharing intimate moments of terror, loss, remarkable resilience and hope.
What started as a WhatsApp exchange of children’s art between friends Féile Butler, (Sligo) and Mohammed Timraz in (Central Gaza), has grown into the project HeART of Gaza. Via social media, the project quickly captured the imagination of solidarity groups around the world. There have been over 120 collaborative exhibitions to date, from Chicago to London, from Berlin to Rome.
Select Prints from the travelling exhibition will be on display and for sale at Dublin Art Book Fair. All profits from sales will go directly to HeArt of Gaza. Money raised will support nine venues across the Strip, offering art workshops and therapeutic assistance to the children of Gaza. Funds also provide aid for Mohammed's immediate community in Deir al Balah The workshops, give children a space to reclaim a fragment of their childhood, to gather friendship and create art to process their world, share their memories and express emotions.
Dublin Art Book Fair (4–14 December 2025) is a centre for contemporary artist books offering a wide selection of artist publications and titles from creative, small and independent publishers, both Irish or international, to browse or buy. In conjunction with the Fair, DABF presents an programme of book launches, publisher's talks, and workshops, offering ways to engage and gain insight into contemporary independent and arts publishing.
