Bealtaine | Improv Workshop with Michelle Read
28 May 2026, 11am–2pm
A fun and practical workshop with Dublin Comedy Improv founding member Michelle Read in celebration of Bealtaine Festival.
26 November 2022, 2pm - 4pm
Join TBG+S studio artist Tamsin Snow to experiment with the art of paper marbling.
Marbling is an old art, imported to Western Europe via the East but also known in Japan as Suminagashi (墨 流 し) or ‘floating ink’. Patterns of a veined or mottled appearance in imitation of marble were traditionally used as book covering and book end sheets. Have fun with this relaxing, mindful process creating samples that can be used to make your own books or bookmarks.
Tamsin Snow studied at the Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths College in London. Snow works across sculpture, CGI animation, photography and painting to create a body of work that questions our daily interactions with familiar systems of circulation: bodily, viral, elemental, cultural, and economic.
Drop in workshop, all ages welcome. This event takes place as part of Dublin Art Book Fair 2022: A Caring Matter, sponsored by Henry J Lyons and supported by Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
