Open Call: TBG+S Recent Graduate Residency 2021
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios invites applications from artists for the TBG+S Recent Graduate Residency Award 2021.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is delighted to announce Masterclass Series, a new programme in which visiting international artists participate in public talks and a series of sessions which engage with TBG+S Studio Artists on collective, as well as, one-to-one basis. Artists Mark Titchner, Katrina Palmer and Mike Nelson were selected and invited by TBG+S Studio Artists as artists who inspire them.
The first talk in the series features London-based artist Mark Titchner in which he will discuss his artistic practice to date, focusing particularly on recent public art projects and sound based works. 27 July 2016 | Mark Titchner lives and works in London. In 2006 Mark was nominated for the Turner prize and his work was showcased in the Venice Biennale at the Ukraine Pavilion. He is represented by the Vilma Gold Gallery, London.
6 September 2016 | Katrina Palmer lives and works in London. In 2013 Katrina was one of the selected artists to win Open, a competition ran by BBC Radio 4 and Artangel. Katrina is represented by MOTInternational Gallery, London.
8 December 2016 | Mike Nelson lives and works in London. In 2011 Mike represented Britain in the Venice Biennale. In 2001 and 2011 he was nominated for the Turner Prize. Mike is represented by 303 Gallery, New York, Galleria Franco Noero, Turin, Matt’s Gallery, London and neugerriemschneider, Berlin. Mike will be in conversation with artist Jaki Irvine on the 8th December.
