Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is delighted to announce the launch of its new Online Shop.

You will find artist books and publications, limited artist editions and gifts available to purchase. Our shop is dedicated to supporting artist books and titles from a handful of small independent international and Irish publishers. All books, publications and limited editions are connected to our programmes and the artists we work with – studio artists, exhibiting artists and, the artists and titles featured at our annual Dublin Art Book Fair (DABF).

A highlight is Studio Publication Series, a new series of limited edition artist books focusing on TBG+S studio artists. The first two publications in the series features studio artists, Aleana Egan’s free ideas about the sea and, Richard Proffitt’s The dust blows forward ‘n the dust blows back, made in collaboration with Programme Curator, Michael Hill and designer, Alex Synge. Each edition is unique to the individual artist and their artistic expression - existing somewhere between artwork and artist’s scrapbook, layering artworks, drawings, doodles, chosen images, slips of ideas, to unfold an artist’s work in a way that is intimate and thrilling.

We look forward to building our online shop over time, and to strengthening Temple Bar Gallery + Studios’ role as a centre for artist books. Our shop will provide an outlet for imaginative and ambitious writing on contemporary art, exhibition making, design, select fiction, philosophy, poetry, politics and titles recommended to us by artists, curators, writers and others. As a year-round resource our shop will operate as a backbone to DABF, be an outlet for artists’ work, and, we hope it will become a go-to point for the books we are drawn to that may not always be so easily found elsewhere.

All profits from sales will go directly to supporting our programme and artists.
