Temple Bar Gallery + Studios invites applications from artists for the TBG+S Recent Graduate Residency Award 2021.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is delighted to announce the third poem in the series by Doireann Ní Ghríofa, TBG+S Writer 2018.
The TBG+S Writing Commission aims to expand ideas around writing about art by inviting Irish authors to create a series of pieces inspired by the exhibitions at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. The written pieces are available online and in the gallery.
[Not here. Here] was written in response to Stephen Loughman's solo exhibition Proven Answers, which runs until Saturday 15 September 2018. For more information on the exhibition please click here.

'Poem #3 [Not here. Here] by Doireann Ní Ghríofa'
Doireann Ní Ghríofa is a bilingual writer living and working in Cork. She writes both prose and poetry, in both Irish and English. Her next books are ‘Lies’ (drawing on a decade of her Irish poems in translation), and ‘9 Silences’ (a collaborative book with artist Alice Maher). Among her awards are the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature, a Seamus Heaney Fellowship, and the Ostana Prize (Italy).
