The ISCP Residency supports visual artists based in Ireland and Irish artists living abroad to spend three months in residence at ISCP from 1 September–30 November 2026.
Housed in a former factory in Brooklyn, with 35 light-filled work studios and two galleries, ISCP is New York’s most comprehensive international visual arts residency programme. It includes 24-hour access to a private furnished studio space; studio visits from visiting critics, curators and art world professionals; field trips to museums, galleries and other cultural venues; participation in artist talks and ISCP’s Open Studios event; and a stipend supporting living and materials expenses.
This residency is particularly suited to artists who have an established track record and would benefit from time to research, reflect, explore, and network in a major international city. It is suited to artists eager and ready to discuss and present their work with peers in a professional studio setting. Artists who have confidence in their practice, and who are prepared to fully engage with this opportunity are encouraged to apply.
Residents become part of a growing network of international artists and curators who are ISCP alumni. An ISCP residency has often led to critical advancement in the practice of the artist and curators in residence.
