Warp Spasm V Friendly Thighs by Eimear Walshe and RGKSKSRG.

Video series accompanying Oh My Demigod, exhibition by Farouk Alao, Oona Doherty with Luca Truffarelli, Michelle Doyle/Rising Damp and Louis le Brocquy.

Warp Spasm V Friendly Thighs is a promo video series commissioned by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios as part of the Public Programme of events developed to accompany the exhibition Oh My Demigod. Curated by RGKSKSRG and featuring artworks by Farouk Alao, Oona Doherty with Luca Truffarelli, Michelle Doyle/Rising Damp, and Louis le Brocquy, the exhibition in the gallery retells the story of Cúchulainn and the part he played in the epic Táin Bó Cuailnge. In an unrelated corner of the TBG+S building, studio artist Eimear Walshe works with the same original source material, but to tell a very different story, drawing on the Táin as a tale of sensuality and revenge. Despite the shared starting points and overlapping research interests, the two projects are not connected in any way.
