Satin Shadow Live at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios
19 June 2025
Listen to a live performance by Satin Shadow, the collaborative project of visual artist Austin Hearne and filmmaker Glenn McQuaid.
Staged beneath the iconic oval aperture of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Satin Shadow gave their first live performance transforming the Atrium into a space of sonic and spiritual provocation. The performance was a Black Mass of sound and spoken word as Satin Shadow conjured their shared obsession with strange frequencies and defiant, iconoclastic expression.
Rooted in their mutual disdain for the Catholic Church and a deep affinity for pop ritual, Satin Shadow is a queer noise project that channels the sacred and profane into something uniquely unsettling and deeply felt.
This performance wass part of the TBG+S Annual Summer Party + Fundraiser, an evening of food, drinks, prizes and live performance in support of TBG+S and the development of artists. Join as a supporter today.
