Online Podcast Launch | Producing Strategies

10 March 2026

Discussions about cultural production hosted by Vaari Claffey and Francis Halsall.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is delighted to host the online launch of Producing Strategies, a new podcast series by curatorial practitioner Vaari Claffey and writer and academic Francis Halsall, exploring creative producing as a practice and form. In conversation with creative experts, Claffey and Halsall speak with curators, film producers, editors, designers, food producers, fashion designers, and more – about how they produce things and make things happen.

They want to find out if there is a common language shared by producers of creative work, and if and how it might be possible to compare strategies for cultural work across different fields of practice.

The series is ongoing, with published interviews with Lian Bell, Alice Butler, Vivian Crockett, Nathan O'Donnell, Mark O'Gorman, Cleo Prickett, Anita Reilly, and Amanda Wilkinson. Follow Producing Strategies on Instagram or find them wherever you listen to your podcasts.

The podcast is produced in collaboration with Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and Kunstverein Aughrim's Creative Producer Programme with support from the research office of the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

Producing Strategies is supported by the Arts Council.
