How does somebody born without sight experience literature as it is today? While one can use assistive technology to make text accessible to people who cannot see, could content and meaning be interpreted effectively too?
Experiment by re-imagining a written a piece of text. You are welcome to bring along an excerpt from your favourite descriptive piece of writing - poetry or prose. This is an interactive and participative workshop suitable for all - blind, visually impaired and sighted. This workshop is programmed to mark United Nations International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
