Meet artists, explore and make art at Summer School Open Day at The Pumphouse, Dublin Port.
Enjoy an afternoon looking at the artworks and their inspiring surroundings at the Pumphouse, Dublin Port and then get creative and have a go at making your own art. Experiment with drawing and making materials in our temporary art studio or take your camera, notebook or one of our drawing boards outside and explore the space through photography, sketching or writing.
There will be drawing and making materials for you to try out and members of the TBGS team on hand to support. Drop in any time 11am – 5pm for access to the art studio. If you need inspiration, a tour of the exhibitions and surroundings will start at 12pm at the orange cabin.
This year, Summer School takes place alongside Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home, two exhibitions at The Pumphouse surrounded by the active logistical operations of the thriving Dublin Port. The exhibitions are produced and curated by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, in partnership with Dublin Port Company.
