Join artist John Conway to explore woodblock printmaking and collage to make a collaborative artwork in the Gallery.
This is a free family workshop, no experience is necessary. Children must be over the age of five and accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Work with an artist and learn to create woodblock prints on a printing press. You can take what you make (whole or collaged, or both!) to layer up, add to and share your work as part of a large group artwork.
John Conway is a visual artist who works with lots of different types of communities in lots of different ways. He is known to some – namely his five-year-old daughter – as the best artist in the whole wide world.
Booking essential as spaces are limited. Please book a space per child. Parents/ guardians do not need to book. Confirmation of attendance will be requested closer to the time.
Event location information: This workshop will take place in the street-facing gallery space at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. There is access to a semi-accessible bathroom. For further access information please contact TBG+S Learning + Public Engagement Curator Órla Goodwin.
