Learn how to make woodblock prints to make a collaborative artwork in the Gallery with artist John Conway.
No experience is necessary for this adult workshop. This is a free event, booking essential as spaces are limited.
Work with artist John Conway and learn to create woodblock prints on a tabletop lever printing press. Take what you make (whole or collaged, or both!) to layer, add to and share your work as part of a large collaborative artwork.
John Conway is a visual artist who works with lots of different types of communities in lots of different ways. He is known to some – namely his five-year-old daughter – as the best artist in the whole wide world.
Event location information: This workshop will take place in the street-facing gallery space at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. There is access to a semi-accessible bathroom. For further access information please contact TBG+S Learning + Public Engagement Curator Órla Goodwin.
This event is part of Summer School 2025, a four-day programme where the Gallery is dedicated to artistic activity, workshops and conversation. Click here to explore more events.
