Isabel English, 'murmur'
30 October — 08 November 2026, Gallery Hours
A presentation of new work by Isabel English in Studio 1, featuring a performance developed by English and Holly Pickering which coincides with Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026.
09 December 2026, 4pm
Join artist and Paul Robinson Studio Award recipient Joanne Reid for an introduction to her commissioned art work for Dublin Art Book Fair and a visit to her studio at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
Joanne Reid, TBG+S Studio Artist and Paul Robinson Studio Award recipient in 2026, introduces her commissioned artwork presented on the walls of Dublin Art Book Fair 2026. Visitors are invited into her studio where she discusses the research and materials processes she undertook to create the commissioned artwork in response to this years theme Colophon. Joanne Reid has a longstanding relationship with TBG+S and DABF. Her commissioned work considers this year’s theme in relation to the idea of an art book fair and the Gallery as a reconfigured space to platform artist books and publications.
Working primarily in sculpture, Joanne Reid’s work begins as an intuitive response to materials, objects and spaces that form our built environment. Her material vocabulary draws primarily from the urban environment and construction sites, often using steel, plywood, timber, plaster, and concrete. Reid is interested in our desire to reproduce the natural world and the history of ornament in architecture and is influenced by art historical compositions, such as the still life. Joanne Reid is a studio artist and the recipient of Paul Robinson Studio Award 2026, supported by Arthur Cox LLP.
As this is an intimate event with limited spaces, confirmation of attendance is required closer to the time.
This event will take place between two locations, the Gallery and a small studio on the first floor accessible by lift and stairs. There is access to a semi-accessible bathroom on the ground floor. The event will be standing with chairs available for those who wish. Please check in at the Dublin Art Book Fair cash desk to be directed to the first location. For further accessibility information please contact Learning + Public Engagement Curator Órla Goodwin.
Dublin Art Book Fair (3–13 December 2026) is a centre for contemporary artist books offering a wide selection of artist publications and titles from creative, small and independent publishers, both Irish or international, to browse or buy. In conjunction with the Fair, DABF presents an programme of book launches, publishers talks, and workshops, offering ways to engage and gain insight into contemporary independent and arts publishing.
Dublin Art Book Fair 2025 is generously sponsored by our longstanding partner Henry J Lyons and supported by Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
