Join us on Culture Night 2021 for a special late opening of Tour Donas, Scottish artist Lucy McKenzie’s first exhibition in Ireland. The exhibition will be open from 11am - 11.30pm.
Tour Donas grew out of an ongoing conversation between curator Pádraic E. Moore, and artist Lucy McKenzie. Featuring paintings, sculptures and elements of décor. Inspiration includes the Belgian artist, Marthe Donas, who spent two years in Dublin from 1914, studying at the cooperative stained-glass studio, An Túr Gloine. Also De Ooievaar (Villa Stork), a listed building, which McKenzie is now carefully restoring as a home where the varying strands of her multidisciplinary practice can unite.
