Join us for a rare opportunity to visit the artists of TBG+S in their studios. The tour will include an introduction to Temple Bar Gallery + Studios followed by a visit to two studio artists. The artists will give a brief introduction to their practice, their studio processes and day-to-day working life. This is a great opportunity to meet an artist and be introduced to a variety of dynamic studio practices.
You can also visit the gallery, open until 9pm, and a drop into a workshop in Studio 1, open until 8pm.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is an artist studio complex and contemporary art gallery in Dublin City Centre. Home to thirty artist studios, we provide professional artists, from recent graduates to internationally recognised artists, with a vital place to work in the city. Our artists work across various media including video, sound, sculpture, print, paint, performance, research, and photography to create exciting contemporary art. The work made in the studios goes on to be exhibited across Ireland and internationally.
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Event Location Description: There is a small step into the building. A ramp is available on request. The studios will be on various floors accessible by lift and stairs.
