A fun and practical workshop with Dublin Comedy Improv founding member Michelle Read in celebration of Bealtaine Festival.
19 September 2024, 4–7pm
Join us at The Pumphouse, Dublin Port, for special evening tours of Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home.
Our friendly team will give an introduction to the two off-site solo exhibitions by Yuri Pattison and Liliane Puthod located in the unique surroundings of The Pumphouse at Dublin Port, the site of a former graving docks. The site-specific immersive exhibitions use forms of artistic storytelling to offer points of connection between geographic, economic and technical networks. They use the symbolism of rivers and seas as places of impermanence that describe transitory relationships through, and outside of the flow of time.
The exhibitions are open for general viewing 11am–4pm. The tours run from 4–7pm. Booking is essential.
Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home, is produced and curated by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, in partnership with Dublin Port Company.
This event is at The Pumphouse, Alexandra Road, Dublin Port. There are public transport links with Dublin Bus and Luas (Red Line), as well as on-site parking. For further access information please contact Learning + Public Engagement Curator Orla Goodwin.
