Connect with where we are now and where we have come from through sound, dance, movement, drawing and painting. Make connections with multiple places and cultures, recent and ancient, things we have forgotten or were taken from us. Thinking about songs or instruments that remind us of home (whatever that means), Rema will facilitate a series of activities in order for us to explore and connect with each other’s found memories.
This workshop continues the conversation of Rema Hamid’s Dancing Flags, an artwork comprising of five flags on Wellington Quay on view for the week of Culture Night.
Booking is advised but not essential. Drop in anytime for this workshop which takes place in Studio 1 at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
