Temple Bar Gallery + Studios presents Dublin I missed you, a public artwork by Farouk Alao.
Artist Farouk Alao celebrates the culture of the city as restaurants, clubs, cultural hubs and public spaces have re-opened regaining a normality, perhaps, more amplified than the ‘normal’ we once knew. ‘We still have work to do, but Dublin I missed you’.
Dublin I missed you comprises a series of flags hoisted along Wellington Quay, adjacent to Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, and an online film work launching on the TBG+S website and social media on Culture Night. Combining graphics, conversation and poetry, the flags are intended as conversation starters and can be viewed from Wellington Quay and Ormond Quay Lower, between Ha'penny Bridge and Grattan Bridge.
Dublin I missed you is commissioned by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for Culture Night 2022.
