Six leading Irish artists hold a raffle to raise funds for Médicins Sans Frontières to help support those affected by the catastrophic war in Palestine.
Six artworks have been donated Gerard Byrne, Aleana Egan, Alice Maher, Isabel Nolan, Mairead O'hEocha, and Niamh O'Malley.
Tickets are available online for €10. We encourage those who can afford to buy or gift more than one ticket.
The artists write:
‘We are in a time of crisis. Increasing numbers of civilians are being killed, hurt and displaced. We are particularly devastated for all those currently undergoing insufferable cruelty and those who have lost loved ones. As artists and artworkers we believe in connection, solidarity, peace, a more equitable and a safer world.’
The work will be on display in the atrium of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for the duration of Dublin Art Book Fair, 7–17 December. The raffle closes midnight 20 December 2023. The draw will take place Thursday 21 December and prizes will be allocated alphabetically as names are drawn.
Works will be available for collection on 22 December. Shipping can be arranged with TBG+S at the winners expense. Please note the gallery closes 22 December 2023 – 3 January 2024 for the Christmas period.
