Enjoy a morning of art in the city. We will introduce you to exhibitions and arts organisations in Temple Bar which you can later explore at your own pace.
Meet at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for an introduction to Jorge Satorre’s solo exhibition Did I say I miss you? For the next stop, we will go next door to Black Church Print Studio for a short behind the scene tour. Further down the road, we will call into Photo Museum Ireland for an introduction to Sharon Murphy’s exhibition Mise en Abyme.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery supporting the development of artists and the creation of art.
Black Church Print Studio is an artists’ collective that supports and promotes the development of contemporary art practice through the medium of printmaking.
Photo Museum Ireland is a centre for contemporary photography, dedicated to advancing the development, appreciation and understanding of photography and visual culture.
Event location and tour route information: A member of our team will be present to welcome you at our street-facing gallery. We will walk approximately five minutes between each venue. The walk will be through a busy pedestrianised area with mixed cobbled and sometimes uneven surfaces. One venue has stairs without lift access. The introductions will be standing but with seating available. The venues are varied according to each exhibition and may include sound, moving images, artificial or dimmed lighting. For further information on accessibility please contact Learning + Public Engagement Curator Órla Goodwin.
