Art Walk is a free guided tour introducing contemporary art in Temple Bar, hosted by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.

Enjoy an afternoon of art in the city. We will introduce you to exhibitions and arts organisations in Temple Bar which you can later explore at your own pace.

Meet at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for an introduction to Anne Ryan's solo exhibition Tugann an Torann. We will go next door to The Library Project for Black Church Print Studio's group exhibition Unlimiting the Edition. Further down the road Project Arts Centre will introduce Kate Cooper's exhibition Ground Truth / Fírinne Bhunúsach.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery supporting the development of artists and the creation of art.

Black Church Print Studio is an artists’ collective that supports and promotes the development of contemporary art practice through the medium of printmaking.

The Library Project is a cultural hub, multidisciplinary with a focus on Photography, run by PhotoIreland. A space to discover publications, exhibitions and events.

Project Arts Centre is a centre for artists, arts workers and audiences of all ages, with a programme of visual and performing arts in two theatre spaces and a gallery, including space for the development of new work.

Event location and tour route information: A member of our team will be present to welcome you at our street-facing gallery. We will walk approximately five minutes between each venue. The walk will be through a busy pedestrianised area with mixed cobbled and sometimes uneven surfaces. All venues will be on ground level or accessible via a lift. The introductions will be standing but with seating available. The venues are varied according to each exhibition and may include sound, moving images, artificial or dimmed lighting.
