April's Art Walk coincides with Dublin Learning City Festival, and is a free guided tour introducing contemporary art in Temple Bar hosted by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.

Enjoy an afternoon of art in the city and celebrate Dublin Learning City Festival. We will introduce you to exhibitions and arts organisations in Temple Bar which you can later explore at your own pace. Meet at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for an introduction to the Gallery and to artist Lucy Stein’s exhibition Lunula. We will then go next door for a behind the scenes visit to Black Church Print Studios. Finishing at The Photo Museum Ireland, to hear about the Museum and their current exhibition for the Taylor Wessing Irish Photo Prize.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery supporting the development of artists and the creation of art.

Black Church Print Studio is an artists’ collective that supports and promotes the development of contemporary art practice through the medium of printmaking.

Photo Museum Ireland is a centre for contemporary photography, dedicated to advancing the development, appreciation and understanding of photography and visual culture.

Event location and tour route information: A member of our team will welcome you at our street-facing Gallery. We will walk approximately five minutes between venues through a busy pedestrianised area with mixed cobbled and accessible pathways. One location requires use of stairs. Seating is available on request. The venues are varied according to each exhibition and may include sound, moving images, artificial or dimmed lighting.
