Fiona Reilly is a multidisciplinary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. She is interested in the overlap between art, everyday life, human action and social systems. Her work is driven by research and chance encounters alike. Mediums employed include drawing, embroidery, collected and found objects, sound, performance and conversational events. Time is a recurring subject matter as are the topics of work, labour, anxiety, aspiration, success, failure and the everyday.

Fiona Reilly holds an MA in Social Practice and the Creative Environment from Limerick School of Art and Design and a BA in Fine Art from The National College of Art and Design. She has exhibited throughout Ireland and abroad and is the recipient of numerous awards including the Arts Council of Ireland 16 X 16 Next Generation Art Award. She has taken part in multiple residencies including at NIDA Art Colony, Lithuania and Fire Station Artist Studios, Dublin. Selected exhibitions include Dearly Beloved: ArtWorks 2019, VISUAL, Carlow, 2019, Agnes and I, Black Church Print Studio, Dublin, 2019, I Slept Like a Stone, The Lab Gallery, Dublin, 2018 and Matters EV+A, Limerick City, 2010. Fiona also works in participatory and public contexts including The Department of Time Keepers, research residency at Studio 468, Rialto, commissioned by Common Ground and The Art Workers, a discursive event series in Aarhus Denmark, 2019.
