David Fagan
Through performance, video and media installation David Fagan’s practice plays with ideas of personal friendship and shared community. His works amplify quiet human interactions using physical and temporal distance from their subject. Interacting with archive material allows a distance in time between artist and subject, while the use of communications equipment makes physical separation possible. In this way, regular human needs to connect and empathise are given a more perceptible form.
