Adrian Duncan’s Fictions: The makings of other worlds considers the different ways stories can be told; the images, spaces, objects, figures, feelings that emerge while doing so; and the sorts of truths they propose. Duncan's theme will be explored through a selection of books and a programme of talks, readings and screenings with invited practitioners from visual arts, literature and journalism.
Dublin Art Book Fair (DABF) is a centre for contemporary artist books, and Ireland's longest-running art book fair. Celebrated for its embrace of arts practices, small and independent publishers and artist-run culture, it specialises in themes that embrace the intersection between art, design, literature and contemporary culture. This year, DABF runs over ten days Thursday 21 November – Sunday 1 December. The open call for submissions of artist books will be announced shortly.
