Join visiting artist Lyndon Barrois Jr. for a studio talk about his practice and work as part of the upcoming group exhibition Reflex Blue at TBG+S.

This intimate studio talk is for graduates, early career and emerging contemporary artists and curators, and those returning to their practice. Lyndon Barrois Jr. will offer insight into the planning, research and processes leading up to Reflex Blue, a group exhibition at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (TBG+S). Lyndon Barrois Jr. is an artist and educator from New Orleans, based in Pittsburgh and is currently on a production residency at TBG+S.

Lyndon Barrois Jr. uses magazines, cinematic and vernacular imagery as primary subjects of inquiry, translating processes of production and meaning between various material contexts. Current projects liken artmaking to sleight of hand, using fiction to inform or subvert historical realities.
