2013 - 2017
Neil Carroll is an emerging Visual Artist living and working in Dublin.
Solo shows include 'Made Undone' as part of Futures 13 at the RHA, Dublin (2013), 'Between Leaving and a Possible Return' (2012) at The Lab, Foley St, Dublin, 'Working Backwards' (2011) at The Joinery, Arbour Hill, Dublin and 'Changeable Limits' (2011) at Ormond Studios, Ormond Quay, Dublin. During the summer of 2013 Carroll completed a site-specific installation as part of the 'Art Lot' project in Dublin, which temporarily occupied a vacant lot (Aug – Sept 2013).
He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions such as at Chateux de Servieres, Marseilles (2011), In_Flux, Occupy Space, Limerick (2011), Gracelands, Sligo (2011), and Housing a Pig, Flood, Dublin (2013).
In 2012 he was awarded the Henessey-Craig Scholarship for painting at the RHA, Dublin and was also short-listed for the Red Stables Residential Studio Award, Dublin. In 2013 he was awarded a bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland.
