TBG+S website wins Irish web award!

On Saturday 22nd October Temple Bar Gallery + Studios’ new website www.templebargallery.com was awarded the prize for best arts website 2011 at the Irish Web Awards at Dublin’s Mansion house venue.

The other shortlisted websites for the award were nch.ie/online, fringefest.com, irishtheatremagazine.ie, axis-ballymun.ie and ewaneumann.com.

‘We are just delighted to be included in the category for best arts website alongside such great organisations and really impressive websites. To win it is a very big achievement for us and a great vote of confidence!’

The Temple Bar Gallery + Studios website was launched in May 2011 alongside a rebranded logo design for the organisation, which was carried out by David Joyce of Language design. The website was designed and made by Karen Hanratty of Pixel design.

The website allows users to access up-to-date information on TBG+S’s activities from gallery exhibitions to studio opportunities. It also contacins information about TBG+S’s participatory education programme, and an extensive archive of past activities. Visitors to the website can sign up to the mailing list to receive information via email about upcoming events and a quarterly newsletter.
