DABF | Make a Photobook / Collaborative Workshop by Read That Image

22 November 2015

Sunday 22nd November 2015 | 10am-5pm
Studio 6

Join the RTI team for this one day collaborative photobook-making workshop. Participants will be given a brief introduction to each stage of the bookmaking process and will build and create their own hand-crafted photobooks. Participants will work in groups with a collective pool of images to create new narratives and explore various possibilities of visual storytelling. The emphasis will be on editing, sequencing and the process of building relationships between images. While there will be some limitations in place (tight timeframe, book size, binding) experimentation with available materials is highly encouraged. This one day workshop will be fast-paced and hands on, and follow a DIY approach to photobook making.

Time: 10am - 5pm
No. of participants: maximum 12
Price: €30

Deadline for submissions: Thursday 19th November 6pm

Feel free to submit colour photographs however please note these will be converted to black and white for the purpose of the workshop. All confirmed participants will need to provide high res image files @ 300 dpi by Friday 20th 8pm
